A father's marriage to his uncle's widow is permissible for him Islamically, because polygyny is permissible provided there is justice between the wives. He is not obligated to inform his first wife, and the mother is not allowed to seek divorce because of this marriage. She must fear Allah and be patient. We advise the parents to maintain good companionship, and if necessary, to seek help from sincere mediators.
