Is it permissible to raise small birds (like "durar" finches) and confine them in cages?

It is permissible to keep birds in cages if you feed them what they need of food, based on the hadith about the woman who was punished because of a cat, and the hadith of Anas in the two Sahih collections that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said to Abu Umayr: "O Abu Umayr, what did the little bird do?" And the little bird was a small bird he used to play with, which indicates the permissibility of caging birds.
