What is the ruling on the marriage of a man who committed adultery with a woman, and then she was divorced, and he married her after the expiration of her waiting period with the intention of repentance and covering up what they had done, knowing that the marriage took place three years ago after the woman left her husband due to his failure to consummate the marriage and his theft of her money?

What occurred between you and this woman is a heinous abomination and a great indecency, especially if she was married. However, Allah accepts sincere repentance, no matter how great the sin. Therefore, you both must remain steadfast in repentance and upright in obedience.

If your action was what corrupted the woman against her husband, then many scholars hold the view that the marriage of the one who corrupted her against her husband is invalid. However, if the marriage fulfills all its conditions and pillars, then there is no harm in acting upon the opinion of those who validate this marriage, especially since years have passed since it took place.
