The face covering worn by the girl with openings for the eyes is considered acceptable concealment, and she will be rewarded for it. However, a surgical mask (kamama) does not fulfill the wisdom of the hijab. Covering the face with a surgical mask inside the home without reason is unnecessary. However, covering the face outdoors with a surgical mask is permissible. It is advisable to continue with what the girl is currently wearing to avoid problems, while repeatedly trying to persuade her father and supplicating for his guidance.
