What is the ruling on getting rid of usurious money by helping a sick person obtain medical treatment, without informing him of the source of the money, and without considering it as charity (sadaqah) or zakat?

It is not a condition to inform the beneficiary when disposing of usurious money, whether it be an individual or a public entity such as orphanages or hospitals. The intent is to get rid of this illicit money by spending it on its designated channels, such as treating the sick and the needy. The jurists have agreed on the obligation to dispose of it for the public welfare of Muslims or for the benefit of specific individuals.
