What is the ruling on a woman purchasing a driver's license to avoid being in seclusion with a driving instructor?

It is not permissible to buy a driver's license and use it for someone who has not been trained to drive, as this exposes people's lives and property to danger. The preservation of life and property is among the five essential necessities upon which all divine laws have agreed. Similarly, it is not permissible for a woman to be alone with a non-mahram (definition) man to learn driving. Rather, she must learn with a woman, a mahram man, or in the presence of someone who prevents the unlawful seclusion.
