Is money paid to obtain residency in a country that does not grant residencies considered a bribe, and what is the ruling on traveling with this residency to conduct business, perform Umrah, or visit family?

Bribery is one of the gravest sins, and its perpetrator and intermediary are accursed. This applies to bribery through which one obtains what is not rightfully theirs. However, regarding bribery to repel injustice and attain one's right, it is permissible according to the majority of scholars, and the sin falls upon the recipient of the bribe. Nevertheless, patience and refraining from paying it are better. The wife must obey her husband if he does not consent to it.
