Does a divorce, intended to be a divorce, occur if the wife went to the house upon which the oath was sworn, knowing that her going was without the husband's knowledge, and after a long period of time had passed since the oath was sworn, and conjugal relations continued between them throughout this period?

If this pronouncement was not the third and final one, then the revocation of the divorce has occurred by the husband cohabiting with his wife during her waiting period (iddah (definition)), even if the husband was unaware that the divorce had taken place. This is supported by what was narrated from Al-Hasan (definition) in "Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah" regarding a man who conditioned his wife's divorce upon her entering a specific house, and she entered it without him realizing it. In such a case, if he cohabited with her during her iddah, his cohabitation with her constitutes a revocation of the divorce.
