What is the ruling on continuous discharge resulting from bacteria, which varies in color (brown, yellow, light yellow, white) after purification from menstruation? Is it pure or impure? And is it obligatory to perform istinja’ when performing ablution for each prayer, or is ablution sufficient?

The secretions that exit from the urinary opening are impure (najis). As for those from the vagina, there is a difference of opinion regarding them. It is preferable to wash them to avoid the scholarly disagreement, based on the Prophet's (peace be upon him) saying: "Leave that which makes you doubt for that which does not make you doubt." The affected area must be washed with every ablution to minimize the impurity.
