Why was "لا" (laa) mentioned before "Wadd", "Suwa‘", and "Yaghuth", but not before "Ya‘uq" and "Nasr" in the verse: {And they said, "Do not abandon your gods, and do not abandon Wadd, nor Suwa‘, nor Yaghuth, and Ya‘uq and Nasr"}?

Al-Alusi mentioned in his Tafsir (definition) that singling out Wadd, Suwa', Yaghuth, Ya'uq, and Nasr for mention after a general prohibition of polytheism is because they were the largest and most revered idols among them, differing in their perceived greatness. He indicates this by the re-occurrence of "La" (no/not) with some of them and its omission with others. It was also said that Ya'uq and Nasr were separated from the negation due to the frequent repetition of "La" and the absence of ambiguity.
