Is mutual love permissible between two women without a forbidden sexual relationship, and will they be held accountable for these feelings, and is it permissible for them to remain in contact?

If the relationship is one of customary affection, it is good. However, if it is a kind of infatuation, it is dangerous. There is no blame for a mere feeling in the heart as long as it does not lead to a forbidden word or deed, as Allah Almighty says: "And there is no blame upon you for that in which you have erred, but [only for] what your hearts intended," and as the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "Indeed, Allah Almighty has forgiven my Ummah for what their souls whisper to them, as long as they do not act upon it or speak of it." It is advisable to distance oneself from it for fear of Shaytan's exploitation, as Allah Almighty says: "O you who have believed, do not follow the footsteps of Shaytan."
