The "We have returned from the minor jihad to the major jihad" was narrated by Al-Bayhaqi with a weak chain of transmission. Al-Hafiz Ibn Hajar said that it is the words of Ibrahim ibn Abi Abla and not a Hadith. Al-Khatib Al-Baghdadi narrated it with the wording: "The servant's struggle against his desires." Sheikh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah mentioned that this Hadith has no basis.
