What is the ruling on marriage if the husband doubts whether the two just witnesses heard the offer and acceptance, knowing that the guardian and one of the witnesses (the imam of the mosque) affirm that everyone heard, and the husband and guardian do not know the names of the other witnesses?

The contract is valid as long as it was conducted according to the conditions and pillars [of a valid contract]. The testimony of seven people, three of whom know Arabic and the rest understand it a little, is sufficient for the validity of the contract, and there is no need to redo it, as only two witnesses are sufficient. The testimony of someone who understands the language a little is valid if he comprehends that the contracting parties have entered into a marriage contract. The husband's doubts and misgivings and his lack of knowledge of the remaining witnesses do not affect the validity of the contract.
