Is a marriage valid if it was concluded without witnesses present at the time of the contract, then the offer and acceptance were witnessed one or two days after the contract and before consummating the marriage with the wife?

The majority of scholars stipulate for the validity of marriage the presence of a guardian (wali) and two witnesses who hear the offer and acceptance. This is the view of Ibn Qudamah and the Hanafi As-Samarqandi. If the contract is not concluded in the presence of two witnesses, then the contract is invalid according to the majority of scholars.
