The answer

The presence of the taste of tears in the mouth when wiping them does not affect the validity of the prayer, unless there is an intention to drink or eat. As for crying during prayer, there is a detailed explanation:

Hanafis: If the reason for crying is pain or misfortune, it invalidates the prayer. However, if the reason is the mention of Paradise or Hellfire, it does not invalidate it. Malikis: Crying without a sound does not invalidate the prayer at all. As for crying with a sound, if it is voluntary, it invalidates it. If it is involuntary, it does not invalidate it unless it is due to a misfortune and not out of devotion. Shafi'is: According to the more authoritative opinion, crying invalidates the prayer if two letters become audible, even if it is due to the fear of the Hereafter. Hanbalis: Crying or groaning does not invalidate the prayer if two letters become audible, provided it is out of fear (of Allah).
