How authentic is the Hadith: "Whoever recites 'Qul Huwa Allahu Ahad' (Say: He is Allah, the One) until he completes it ten times, Allah will build for him a palace in Paradise. And whoever recites it twenty times, two palaces will be built for him. And whoever recites it thirty times, three [palaces] will be built for him"?
The narration with the mentioned wording was transmitted by Al-Tabarani in Al-Awsat, and Al-Haythami deemed it weak due to the presence of Hani' bin Al-Mutawakkil, who is a weak narrator. Likewise, Sheikh Hussein Asad weakened its chain of transmission due to the presence of Al-Tabarani's shaykh and Hani' bin Al-Mutawakkil. Al-Darimi transmitted the mursal (with a missing link in the chain) from Sa'id bin Al-Musayyab, and Ibn Kathir described it as a good mursal narration. Al-Albani graded it (good) due to its corroborating narrations, and he considered the mentioned hadith to be one of these corroborating narrations. Sheikh Hussein Asad holds the view that the mursal chains of transmission of a hadith strengthen each other, thereby making the hadith sound.
