Is the aforementioned addition by Ali bin Ma'bad in the Hadith of Intercession, which includes God's saying: "I will indeed bring out whoever said, 'There is no god but Allah!'" authentic and acceptable? And if it is authentic, does it include deviant sects such as the Rafidah, Mu'tazilah, and Khawarij, so that they will not abide eternally in Hell?
It is authentically established in the Sahihayn that whoever says "Lā ilāha illā Allāh (There is no god but Allah)" will be taken out of the Fire. And Allah will grant permission to the Messenger Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, to intercede for those who said it, and He will say to him: "By My Might, My Majesty, My Grandeur, and My Magnificence: I shall certainly take out of it anyone who said Lā ilāha illā Allāh." It is hoped that this hadith includes all innovators, so long as their innovation does not constitute disbelief.
