Should prayers with multiple intentions be written as separate rak'ahs?

It is permissible for the worshipper to pray two rak'ahs, intending them as the regular Sunnah prayer of Dhuhr, and combine with that the intention of the Sunnah of ablution, the greeting of the mosque, and the prayer of repentance, because these are not intended as standalone prayers. This is known as combining two acts of worship, and it is permissible if the two acts of worship are interrelated, or if one of them is not intended as a standalone act of worship. In this case, the worshipper receives the basic reward, as the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Indeed, actions are by intentions." However, if he were to pray each of them individually, his reward would be greater. Similarly, if he intends the prayer of istikhara along with the regular Sunnah prayer, he achieves the purpose and is rewarded for the basic Sunnah.
