ما هي شروط الاجتهاد مع ذكر الدليل؟

For Ijtihad (independent reasoning in Islamic law), the following are stipulated: Islam, intellect, maturity, oversight of the Quranic texts related to rulings, knowledge of the Sunnah, awareness of points of consensus and disagreement, knowledge of analogy (Qiyas), the Arabic language, the abrogating and abrogated verses, and the status of narrators to distinguish the sound from the corrupt. One must also possess the faculty of deduction and be just. It is not a condition to reach the utmost perfection in these stipulations; rather, it suffices to have a firm grasp of each discipline.
