It is permissible to open a gaming channel and earn a livelihood from it if the games are free of Sharia prohibitions, such as corrupt beliefs, incitement to vice, gambling, nudity, or music, and if they do not lead to neglecting obligatory duties. However, it is more meritorious to engage in channels that benefit people in their religious or worldly affairs.
