Is it permissible to trade with the investors' money in a specific field and give them a percentage of the profits from another field, different from the one they invested in, with their consent?

If the capital owners stipulate a specific type of trade for the Mudarib (investor/manager of funds), the Mudarib is not permitted to violate this condition. If he violates it and the capital is lost or incurs a loss, he is liable for it. If the Mudarib gives the capital owners a percentage of the profit from another type of trade instead of the profit from their own capital, and if the percentage is less than what they are entitled to or is unknown, then this is not permissible, as it involves consuming their wealth unjustly or involves gharar (excessive uncertainty). If the percentage is more than what they are entitled to, and he informs them of this, then it is not permissible according to many scholars, because it is a gift to the Qirad (Mudaraba) owner intended to keep the capital with the agent. If he does not inform them, then it is considered charity for them, which is commendable.
