ما معنى أصحاب الأعراف؟

The exegetes differed regarding the interpretation of the People of the A'raf (the Heights) into ten opinions. Among them is that they are a people whose good deeds were enough to keep them from the Fire, but their bad deeds fell short of qualifying them for Paradise. This has been narrated from a number of the predecessors.
