Must I wait for the yellow discharge to stop and then perform ghusl, or should I consider it to be like the white discharge (al-qassah al-bayda’) and perform ghusl upon seeing it, especially since I do not see the white discharge after the brownish discharge, and a white discharge comes out of me daily during a state of purity?

If the nine or ten days include a brownish discharge (kudrah) and a yellowish discharge (sufrah), these are considered days of menstruation if they fall within the period when menstruation is possible. Purity is attained when the bleeding and what is akin to it cease, such that no trace of blood, yellowish, or brownish discharge appears upon inserting a piece of cloth. Yellowish and brownish discharges during the customary period are considered menstruation. However, if a woman sees them after her days of menstruation, they are not to be counted. For a woman whose custom it is to see the white discharge (al-qassah al-bayda'), it is recommended for her to wait for it as long as the prayer time has not elapsed.
