If a brother is wealthy and his sister is poor, and he is her heir, then he is obligated to spend on her.

Conditions for the obligation of maintenance are: 1. The dependents must be poor. 2. The provider must have surplus funds beyond his own expenses and those of his family. 3. The provider must be an heir.

It is permissible to work as a nanny, provided there is no khalwah (private seclusion) with a non-mahram man.

If the food is certainly forbidden, it is not permissible to cook it or assist in its preparation. If it is doubtful, it is permissible to cook and eat it.

If the containers in which forbidden food was cooked are washed, it is permissible to cook lawful food in them.

It is permissible to live with a married couple if there is no khalwah between you and the man. It is preferable to seek work from home or in a mosque.
