It is permissible for a Muslim woman to work as a maid if she is in need of it, provided she adheres to the Islamic guidelines. These include not being in seclusion with a non-mahram man and not removing her hijab in front of him. As for removing the hijab in front of a child, it is permissible if the child has not yet reached an age where he understands the nakedness of women; otherwise, it is not permissible.
