What is the ruling on a merchant touching his female customer's hand during a transaction, if this occurs repeatedly?

It is not permissible for a man to shake hands with a woman who is a stranger to him, due to the temptation involved therein. He must repent from this. Interaction with women in buying and selling can be done through speech. He must fear Allah and avoid the causes of temptation.
