Is it Sunnah to keep the feet together during prostration, bearing in mind that some consider the hadith of Aisha to be Shadh (irregular)?

Some scholars have gone to the extent of recommending the joining of the feet during prostration (sujud), basing their argument on the hadith of Aisha, may Allah be pleased with her. Others, however, recommended separating the feet during prostration, relying on other hadiths such as the hadith of Abu Humayd, noting that some scholars have deemed the hadith of Abu Humayd to be weak. Still others held the view of separating them by a handspan, while the Malikis believe that excessive joining or separation contradicts decorum. A reconciliation between these opinions can be achieved by interpreting the joining of the feet during prostration as a slight separation between them.
