How can I memorize the Qur’an at the age of 53, what are the best methods for that, and how can I avoid falling into ostentation (riya’) which may nullify my deeds?

We have previously explained in past fatwas the most effective means of memorizing the Qur'an and treating ostentation (riya'). We add here that Satan wants to prevent you from memorizing the Qur'an by frightening you into believing that you will fall into ostentation if you memorize it and become an imam for people. Therefore, we advise you to seek Allah's help, seek refuge from Satan, and wholeheartedly engage in memorizing the Book of Allah.
