Is there a Hadith stating that whoever belittles the Sunnah will be tested by Allah with the abandonment of obligatory duties, and what is the ruling on one who neglects the Sunnah prayers out of laziness?

There is no Hadith from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, stating that whoever belittles the Sunnah will be afflicted with abandoning the obligatory duties. However, some scholars have mentioned that whoever deliberately takes the performance of Sunnah lightly will be afflicted with abandoning the obligatory duties.
