Is it permissible to omit the Sunnah acts in prayer—performing only the obligatory acts—due to time constraints caused by work pressure, and is that considered reprehensible, or is it obligatory to perform the Sunnah acts regardless of the consequences?

One who abandons the Sunnah is not sinful, but they miss out on immense good, and may even neglect obligatory duties. The Sunnah completes the obligatory acts, as stated in the Hadith Qudsi concerning prayer. Imam Al-Iraqi mentioned that this deficiency may include what was missed from the Sunnah, or what was deficient in the obligatory acts and conditions, or what was entirely abandoned from the obligatory acts. Relationships at work must be in accordance with the Shari'ah. Therefore, it is not permissible to speak softly [in a seductive manner], according to His Almighty saying: "Then do not be soft in speech, lest he in whose heart is disease should covet, but speak with appropriate speech." (Surat Al-Ahzab, 33:32). Likewise, being in seclusion with a non-mahram is forbidden.
