As for the issue of separating religion from politics, it is a reprehensible matter in Islam, and Muslims are obliged to submit to Allah with obedience in all aspects of life. However, those involved in da'wah (Islamic propagation) differ in their assessment of the benefits and harms resulting from involvement in politics, and each party should excuse the other as long as their view is permissible.
