Is it permissible for a divorced woman whose marriage was not consummated to marry without a guardian?

A woman is not permitted to marry without the permission of her guardian, whether she is a virgin or previously married, based on the Prophet’s (peace be upon him) saying: “Any woman who marries without the permission of her guardian, her marriage is invalid…” However, a previously married woman has more right to consent, so she does not marry until she verbally gives permission, unlike a virgin, for whom silence is sufficient.
