Should a disobedient girl marry a young man who does not pray, while she desires repentance and obedience, fearing that her marriage to someone who will not help her obey Allah?

We ask Allah to guide you and grant you success in sincere repentance. We advise you to make abundant supplications, for repentance from Allah is both preceding and subsequent. Hasten to repent, for Allah may, because of it, grant you success in marrying a righteous man who will help you on the path of uprightness. Be keen to choose a person of religion and good character, and do not accept a man who abandons prayer as a husband, for it is enough evil for him that some scholars have deemed him a disbeliever. It is permissible for a woman to offer herself to a man she wishes to marry.
