Is a husband's use of his hand to extract residual semen after coitus interruptus and ejaculation considered masturbation or "hand marriage" (nikāḥ al-yad)?

It appears that holding the organ to extract residual semen and complete the orgasm is considered masturbation, which is Islamically prohibited, and one must repent from it. Scholars have defined masturbation as: the extraction of semen without intercourse, meaning by manipulating its exit while awake, using the hand or bedding, and similar means. An exception to this is when it is done by the wife, in which case there is no harm.
