Should I demand from my father the receipts for the house sale and the amounts deducted from it, knowing that the money is not mine alone, and I fear that I will be punished by Allah if I demand that from him?

What the father did by taking the money of his daughter, her husband, and their children is forbidden (haram), and he must repent and return the money to them. It is not permissible for the daughter to assist him in this action, and she must demand receipts from him proving the true price of the house. If the father insists on not returning the money, there is no harm in taking the matter to court, and this is not considered an act of disobedience (ʿuqūq). It is preferable for the husband to handle these procedures to avoid embarrassment between the daughter and her father.
