The answer

The hadiths indicate that the descent of Jesus (peace be upon him) will be preceded by the occurrence of the Great Battle (Al-Malhama) between Muslims and Christians, after their joint campaign against a third enemy, followed by the treachery of the Romans. When the armies line up for prayer, Jesus (peace be upon him) will descend. He will be followed by seventy thousand Jews from Isfahan who are followers of the Antichrist (Dajjal).

When Jesus (peace be upon him) descends, he will break the cross, kill the swine, and abolish the jizyah (tribute). This is evidence that all remaining People of the Book after the Great Battle will embrace Islam. This is confirmed by the words of Allah Almighty: "And there is none from the People of the Scripture but that he will surely believe in him before his death. And on the Day of Resurrection he will be a witness against them." (An-Nisa: 159).
