Is it permissible for nephews to shake hands with their uncles' wives, or their maternal uncles' wives, or their brothers' wives, and what is the way out for someone who refuses this handshake in an environment that considers it a custom?

Shaking hands with a non-mahram woman is forbidden, based on the Prophet’s (peace be upon him) saying: “For one of you to be stabbed in the head with an iron needle is better for him than that he should touch a woman who is not permissible for him.” And based on Aisha’s saying: “By Allah, the hand of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) never touched the hand of any woman, ever.” Not shaking hands with the wives of paternal uncles and maternal uncles is the correct approach. Do not worry about people’s disapproval, as this is a trial from Allah. It is appropriate to explain the ruling of the matter in a wise manner.
