What is the ruling on the continuation of a relationship between a man and a woman—who have an agreement to marry after her divorce from her husband, and have affirmed this with an oath upon the Qur’an—with the man knowing that he is married and has a daughter, and the woman knowing that she is married and has two children? A man's meeting and speaking with a foreign woman (a woman who is not a mahram to him) is forbidden and a means to falling into immorality. The prohibition intensifies if the woman is married, and the man is married, or if there is an incitement of the woman against her husband. The man must repent and turn his thoughts away from this woman. As for the oaths they swore concerning forbidden acts, they must break them and expiate for them by feeding ten poor persons or clothing them, or by freeing a slave.
