What is the ruling on a hijab worn for protection that contains Quranic verses without diacritical marks?

There is no harm in writing the Quran without diacritical marks (dots), for the original principle is that the dots were introduced during the era of Al-Hajjaj ibn Yusuf Al-Thaqafi to facilitate reading after the prevalence of errors in pronunciation. Writing the Quran without dots or vowel marks does not cause harm, as long as the Uthmani script is preserved. However, hanging a written Quran on a paper as an amulet (hijab) is considered a form of forbidden talisman.
