What is the ruling on divorce in the case of a husband being magically bound from his wife?

"Tying a husband from his wife" is a type of sorcery that causes him to be unable to approach her, and treatment for it must be sought, along with patience in the face of this affliction. From a Shar'i (Islamic legal) perspective, the husband must divorce his wife if she is harmed by his inability to have intercourse, unless she agrees to waive her right. If she is not harmed, then divorce is not obligatory; rather, it is disliked. The wife has the option to seek divorce after giving the husband a one-year grace period for treatment, unless she was aware of this defect at the time of the marriage contract and consented to it.
