Is it permissible to continue distributing the book "Tafsir of the Last Tenth [of the Quran]" prepared by Sheikh Ibn Jibreen and others, given that it is said its exegesis is taken from a Rafidi, knowing that it is very popular among the common people?

The book "Tafsir al-Ashr al-Akhir" is a good and distinguished book, and its publication and distribution are recommended. It is free from anything that contradicts the doctrine of Ahl al-Sunnah wal-Jama'ah, and it has been endorsed by a number of scholars. What is said about its author, Muhammad Sulaiman al-Ashqar, that he is a Rafidhi, is a lie and falsehood. He is one of the shaykhs of Ahl al-Sunnah, even if he has some unique views with which we do not agree, such as his discourse concerning Abu Bakra, may Allah be pleased with him. This does not exclude him from Ahl al-Sunnah, nor does it mean abandoning him entirely. Not everyone who errs in their ijtihad should be discarded or declared an innovator.
