Why must a woman cover her hair while a man is not required to do so, knowing that a woman may be tempted by a man, and that Allah does not legislate anything without wisdom? And is there a logical, non-religious answer to this?

"The Sharia of Allah conforms to sound intellect and pure human nature, and all its rulings are just and wise. Among them is the imposition of hijab on women, but not on men, because hijab was ordained to prevent falling into the forbidden. If it were imposed on both parties, it would entail hardship. Therefore, it was imposed on women because they are the ones sought after. If a woman observes hijab, the pursuit ceases due to not provoking the man. However, if it were imposed on men, the wisdom behind hijab would not be achieved, because he would see her unveiled and would still desire her."
