Is the preservation of the Kaaba bound by means, or is it like the preservation of the Quran, without means? If it is by means, what are they in light of the weakness of the Ummah? And if it is not, then what is the proof?

Allah Almighty's victory for the believers is conditioned upon their support for His religion. As for the preservation of the Quran, its causes are realized by Allah's will. It is mentioned in the Hadith that Dhul-Suwayqatayn from Abyssinia will demolish the Kaaba at the end of time, near the Hour, when no one will remain to say "Allah, Allah"; this does not contradict its being a sacred and secure sanctuary, because the mentioned destruction will be carried out by its own people (Muslims), and it has been demolished and rebuilt several times, the last of which was by the Qarmatians.
