What should we do if one of our children is gifted toys or items containing music, and what is the solution when buying toys for them if 99% of them contain music and dispensing with them is almost impossible?

Allah has made it obligatory upon guardians to protect their children from the Hellfire by raising them upon the religion. Music is forbidden, so children must be prevented from buying and listening to it. They can be compensated with other entertaining and cultural games and programs, as well as purposeful nasheeds and competitions.

If someone gives a child musical toys as a gift, they should be advised gently, informed of their prohibition, and asked to return them to the buyer, because buying and selling forbidden things is prohibited.
