Musa (peace be upon him) is the son of Imran ibn Yashar ibn Qaahith ibn Lawi ibn Ya'qub Isra'il. Imran, the father of Musa (peace be upon him), is not the same as Imran, the father of Maryam (peace be upon her). Maryam is from the lineage of Harun, the brother of Musa (peace be upon him). The name of Maryam's father is Imran ibn Yasham ibn Amun ibn Misa ibn Hizqiyya. There were six hundred years between Musa and Isa (peace be upon them both).
