Is the husband sinful if the guardian of his wife agrees to delay her wearing the niqab until after the consummation of the marriage, given her consent and her family's refusal?

Scholars have differed regarding the obligation for a woman to cover her face, and the most preponderant opinion is that it is obligatory to cover it, especially with the spread of corruption and the weakening of religious deterrents. It is not permissible to obey one who commands the removal of the niqab; for the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "There is no obedience to a creature in disobedience to the Creator; obedience is only in what is good and right." It is advisable to try and convince the son-in-law of the Islamic ruling with a good approach and kind words. If he does not respond, the wife should not go out except out of necessity. It is preferable to hasten the marriage to relieve this difficult situation.
