Is a husband considered a severer of kinship ties if constant problems with his wife's family prevent him from sending her to visit them except rarely?

Maintaining kinship ties is obligatory, and Allah has emphasized it and warned against severing them. Therefore, a Muslim must maintain ties with his relatives and help those under his responsibility to do so, and not be an obstacle in their path. The husband may prevent his wife from going to her relatives if he has a valid reason for doing so. However, if the wife's family wishes to visit her, the husband may not prevent them unless their visit entails a harm that he fears.
