What is the ruling on using a mobile phone in the bathroom while relieving oneself?

The place for relieving oneself is not a place for talking or exchanging conversations via mobile phone. Among the etiquettes of relieving oneself are silence, unless there is a necessity, and not prolonging one's stay beyond what is needed, except for an important matter, such as warning a blind person or requesting something that removes harm. Conversation in this place does not necessitate concealment or secrecy.

Based on this, one should avoid using a mobile phone while relieving oneself, unless there is an important matter that cannot be delayed, while being careful not to use anything that contains verses, hadiths, or the names of Allah, and limiting oneself to ordinary conversation.
