Is it permissible to watch foreign films to learn a language, while avoiding translation except when necessary?

The reality demonstrates that these films contain many reprehensible elements, and watching them, even with good intentions, is a means to viewing things that are forbidden by Islamic law. Therefore, it is not permissible to watch them with the intention of learning a language, as language acquisition is easily achieved through other means.
