Must I return the gold bracelet to my husband’s mother, knowing that it was counted as part of my dowry and my husband gifted it to me?

The husband's mother has no right to reclaim the bracelets that the husband gave to his wife, whether they were a mahr (dowry) or a gift. Once a gift is taken possession of, it cannot be reclaimed, based on the Prophet's (peace be upon him) saying: "It is not permissible for anyone to give a gift and then take it back, except a father regarding what he gives to his child."
